A music night towards the Central region raises more than VND 2.2 billion

TTH.VN - At a charity music night entitled "The Central region!", which took place on the evening of October 26 at the Center of Culture - Cinema, touching songs written about the Central region resounded deeply, sending the hearts of artists and organizers towards the people who are writhing because of storms and floods.

The music night was organized by PQ organization and performance One Member Limited Company, in coordination with the Provincial Business Association, VKSTAR Company Limited. The event was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

The charity music performance entitled "The Central region!", with the desire to share the difficulties of the people in Thua Thien Hue in particular and the Central region in general, who are suffering many losses due to the impact of natural disasters, storms and floods, has called for contributions, support and help from philanthropists, donors, and audience participating in the program.

Mr. Duong Tuan Anh, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association, shared that "The Central region!" was a practical bridge connecting hearts to hearts, with deep humanity and love for the people in difficulties and tribulation. Its main purpose is to spread the message of "Joining hands for the community", creating a meaningful activity for the society, at the same time to provide spiritual and material support for the people in flooded areas, energizing them to gain more will and energy so as to overcome the difficulties and stabilize their life.

The program has the participation of well-known singers and artists from Ho Chi Minh City, including Dam Vinh Hung, Long Nhat, Vu Ha, Phuong Thanh, Bach Tra, Quynh Hoa, Mai Thu Huyen, and Hieu Hien, etc.

The singers and artists performed many touching songs written about the Central region. Via their singing, the songs entitled “Thương lắm miền Trung” (“Loving the Central region so much”), Thương quá Việt Nam (“Loving so much, Vietnam”), “Miền Trung ơi” (“The Central region”), “Nhớ quê” (“Missing hometown”), Quảng Bình quê ta ơi (“Quang Binh, my hometown”), Huế tình yêu của tôi (“Hue, my love”), Tình Huế (“Hue Love”), etc., have touched the hearts of people.

Long Nhat, a singer, shared: “Along with a number of charity music programs towards the Central region taking place in Ho Chi Minh City, I am very touched when I returned to Hue to participate in this program. Being back to my homeland which had just suffered from natural disasters, I want to contribute a part of mine to share the losses and pains of the people. After this program, I will participate in the relief program in Quang Dien, Phong Dien, both giving gifts and singing to partly ease their pains, energize the people to overcome the tribulation and stabilize their life soon”.

The music night entitled "The Central region!" has received the support of many organizations, enterprises, and generosity inside and outside the province. The program has raised more than VND 2.2 billion for the people in the Central region who have suffered damages due to natural disasters recently. The program also held an auction of five paintings, raising VND 100 million.
