Bike-sharing service launched
Earlier this week, Hue City People's Committee officially launched the public bike-sharing project at Nghinh Luong Dinh Pavilion.
The idea of a public bike-sharing system in Hue is based on environmental friendliness and suitability for short travel distances. It is also a new urban transport solution that encourage residents and visitors to switch to a more sustainable mode of transport.
To use this service, residents and visitors only need to download a mobile app and scan the QR Code to unlock the bikes. Then, they can pick up and drop off the bicycles at any available stations.
All bicycle stations are located in the vicinity of bus stations, parking lots, boat stations; cultural heritages, historical sites, scenic spots, craft villages, ancient towns, and garden houses. This would help residents and tourists to enjoy more conveniently when moving from places to places in Hue ancient capital.
