The ceremony was attended by Mr. Nguyen Thanh Binh, Standing Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Permanent Vice Chairman of Provincial People's Committee.

The Global Care (GC) is a South Korean medical humanitarian NGO, which was established in 1997. Since its establishment, the Global Care has participated in many medical examination and treatment activities, and has supported for children in difficult circumstances around the world, including Vietnam.

Every year in the period of 2015 - 2019, under the direction of Professor Park Myong Chul, the Global Care Organization – South Korea cooperated with Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital to provide free examination and surgery for pediatric patients with cleft palate. On this occasion, Professor Park Myong Chul and experts from the Global Care Organization have organized a free surgery program for pediatric patients with cleft lip, cleft palate, and craniofacial deformities; as well as organizing seminars on plastic surgery for doctors and medical staff of the hospital.

With his contribution in volunteering activities to help patients in difficult circumstances and patients with cleft lip and cleft palate in the province, Professor Park Myong Chul of the Global Care Organization – South Korea has been conferred the Certificate of Merits by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee.

At the working session, the leaders of the University of Medicine and Pharmacy, Hue University and Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy Hospital expressed their thanks and wishes to continue to promote strong cooperation with the Global Care, especially in training and professional work, as well as free medical examination and treatment for the community, etc.
