Creating, managing and developing “Hue Ao dai” collective brand

Ao Dai has become a cultural symbol for Vietnamese women in general. For the women of Hue in particular, Ao Dai is a source of pride because Hue Ao Dai has been firmly established in the hearts of the people. For Ao Dai to flourish and be honored, the support and promotion by our sisters, by the members of the Women's Union throughout the province, are essential.

With the inherent sophistication and well-dressing, Hue ao dai has long been a choice of Hue women and tourists. Therefore, there is no shortage of tailor shops in Hue. However, with increasing demand of dynamic style, Hue women recently seem to be inclined to choose for themselves more youthful and innovative ao dai. As a result, the tailor shops have gradually changed themselves to catch up with the trend.

29 years ago was the first time Minh Hanh, the designer, introduced a collection of brocade of the people in the Northern mountainous region.

Thua Thien Hue has presented the policy to support the development of intellectual property until 2020 in order to promote creativity, transfer and development of intellectual property, ensure investment environment and healthy competition in production and business; as well as to protect and enhance the value of agricultural products, which are specialties of traditional craft villages and rural trades.
