According to the data from Booking.com, Hue is one of the most searched destinations in Vietnam for the Lunar New Year 2023.

This website contends that Hue is an outstanding cultural destination with unique features of the old Tet still being preserved, arousing the tourists' curiosity to exploit and learn about this city.

Besides Hue, Vietnam's major cities such as Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi, Da Lat, Nha Trang and Vung Tau are also highly sought-after by Vietnamese tourists for the most popular holiday of the year.

Regarding the types of accommodation, hotels are the most searched for, followed successively by resorts, apartments, homestays and guest houses.

As per Booking.com's Tourism Forecast 2023, trips with the aim of improving mental, physical and spiritual health will attract 73% of Vietnamese travelers in the new year. Besides, 75% of Vietnamese tourists are believed to choose tourism as a way to achieve their mental well-being, transform their physical health, or achieve life balance at important points in their lives.
