Nearly VND 17 billion to support policy beneficiaries on Lunar New Year

TTH.VN - The Provincial People's Committee has issued Decision No.149/QD-UBND on funding of VND 16,957 million to support 73,589 policy and social protection beneficiaries on the occasion of Lunar New Year 2018.

The social policy beneficiaries are given VND 1 million, including: typical policy families; typical people participating in the 1968 Spring campaign and the prominent public and non-public social protection institutions in districts, towns, Hue city; VND 700,000 is given to each typical household escaping poverty; VND 300,000 to poor households.

Those who are supported VND 200,000 include people with meritorious services, children of resistance war activists infected with toxic chemicals, social protection beneficiaries in the community, people cared for at social protection institutions under Decree No.136/2013/ND-CP dated on October 21, 2013 of the Government, and people looked after by non-public establishments.
