Promoting Hue tourism at Hanatour Fair in Korea

Hanatour International Tourism Fair is held annually by Hanatour Service Inc., Korea, with the aim of promoting tourism to destinations around the world.

This year, the Hanatour fair is attended by 50 countries and more than 700 stalls; in which, Vietnam has about 30 booths from tourism organizations and businesses.

In the past three years, Korea has become the largest tourist market of Hue. Particularly in 2018, the total number of Korean visitors to Hue accounted for 30% of the market share. It is forecasted that in the coming time, Korean visitors to Hue will continue to grow steadily..

For the first time attending the fair, Hue tourism sector has the opportunity to introduce and promote its destinations. At the same time, it provides the local tourism information and products to trade fair participants, especially the information about typical events, such as cultural, arts and sports festivals associated with tourism.

At the common introduction space with the General Department of Tourism, Hue tourism sector also organizes special art performances, organizes games to learn about Hue and presents guests attractive souvenirs. In addition, Hue tourism sector also participates in programs and activities organized by the General Department of Tourism to connect itself to a number of international tourism organizations, businesses and associations.

The fair will last until June 9.
