Some activities in Vietnam Film Festival to be adjusted
On November 12th, Dr. Phan Thanh Hai, Director of the Department of Culture and Sports, said that after the meeting to review the coordination in organizing the 22th Vietnam Film Festival by the Provincial People's Committee, the Department of Culture and Sports proposed the Organizing Committee of the 22th Vietnam Film Festival to adjust a number of activities to suit the current situation.
Practicing for the 22th Vietnam Film Festival
Due to the complicated situation of the COVID-19 epidemic in the province with the appearance of many F0 cases in the community, the Provincial People's Committee directed to stop the implementation of some activities within the framework of the film festival to ensure safety during the film festival in Hue.
Specifically, the community film screening at the lobby of the Provincial Culture and Cinema Center and the Nghinh Luong Dinh yard will be stopped to ensure safety in the COVID-19 epidemic prevention and control. Particularly, film screening activities for the festival at Dong Ba cinema, Cinestar cinema, Lotte Cinema and BHD Star Cineplex cinema are still taking place.
In addition, the Organizing Committee will combine the two art shows “Ao Dai and Cinema” and “Gala Dinner” into a gala program “Ao Dai – Cinema”, which will be held at 17:30 on November 18 at Full House Restaurant.
In order to successfully contribute to the promotion of the project "Hue - The capital of Ao Dai Vietnam", the cultural sector also recommends members of the Steering Committee, the Organizing Committee, the Jury and the delegates to wear the traditional Ao Dai whenparticipating in the opening press conference and award announcement ceremony; and, at the same time mobilizing artists to wear Ao Dai in every event in Hue.
