The 47th UPU International Letter Writing Contest launched

TTH.VN - On the morning of October 30, the 47th Universal Postal Union (UPU) International Letter Writing Contest was officially launched at Pham Van Dong Junior High School (Hue City).

The contest, which lasts from now until March 10, 2018, is for children and students under the age of 15 with the theme: "Imagine you are a letter traveling through time. What message do you wish to convey to your readers?" Contest entries are handwritten letters of less than 1,000 words, and the winner of the first prize will be entered in the international contest.

On this occasion, Tran Thi Ai Van, a student of Nguyen Hue high school was given the "National Promising Writer" award. In addition, the Department of Education and Training also honored 46 students who were the winners at the 46th UPU International Letter Writing Contest at the provincial level and presented 5 collective awards to the schools with a large number of quality entries.
