The Provincial Labor Federation signs cooperation agreement with the Federation of Trade Unions of Salavan Province (Laos)

TTH.VN - On the morning of June 11, the Provincial Labor Federation (PLF) held a talk with the Federation of Trade Unions (FTU) of Salavan Province (Laos).

The two units signed a memorandum of cooperation

At the talk, Ms. Nguyen Khoa Hoai Huong, Chairwoman of the PLF introduced an overview of trade unions’ activities in Thua Thien Hue Province, with many welfare programs, taking care of union members and workers’ life. Ms. Nguyen Khoa Hoai Huong hoped that the two units would have more cooperative activities in the coming time so as to together develop and well implement the political tasks of trade unions..

On behalf of the delegation, Mr. Sulith Silimanotham, Member of the Executive Committee of Lao FTU, Chairman of the FTU of Salavan Province, expressed his gratitude for the hospitality and the warmly welcome of the PLF. At the same time, he highly appreciated the results achieved by the PLF in the previous time, especially the work of taking care of life and protecting the legitimate rights and interests of union members and workers. These are valuable experiences that the FTU of Salavan Province needs to study and research to adopt.

On this occasion, the PLF and the FTU of Salavan Province signed a memorandum of cooperation between the two units; in which, the two units would promote the coordination, sharing information and experiences on trade unions' activities, especially the work of taking care of union members and workers’ life.
