Two photo-works win the first prizes of HUEFOTOour 2021 contest

“Thanh Tien paper flowers – Childhood’s Tet holiday” by Phan Van Trung is one of the two photo-works winning the first prizes of the contest

On the morning of October 11, the organizing committee of HUEFOTOur 2021 contest informed that after a day of taking place, the contest received nearly 90 photo-works of dozens of participating photographers.

The contest took place on October 10 with two registration topics including “Opposition” and “Five, Ten, Fifteen…” for candidates to compete. Each topic would have 3 hours for shooting time.

Finishing the final round, the organizing committee awarded two first prizes to the photo-works “Thanh Tien paper flowers – Childhood’s Tet Holiday” of the candidate Phan Van Trung and “The young find knowledge, the elderly find technology” of the candidate Do Hoang Quan. Besides that, many other sub-prizes were also awarded.

HUEFOTOur 2021 has been held for the very first time in Hue and it is a photography contest that reproduces the famous annual “Canon Marathon” photography contest, which is often carried out in Ho Chi Minh City and Ha Noi. The contest gives priority to photos capturing the moments of the ordinary and simple life with good composition and colors; thereby, promoting the images of Hue people and culture to friends and tourists nationwide.
