TTH.VN - On the afternoon of November 5, Vice Chairman of the Provincial people’s Committee Nguyen Thanh Binh had a working meeting with Mr. Miura Shuhei, CEO of Mitani Sangyo Co., Ltd. (Japan), Head of Investment Promotion Division in Vietnam about information technology (IT) development in the province.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee receiving the subscription from the leader of Mitani Sangyo Group

At the meeting, Mr. Miura Shuhei shared about the losses caused by the current storms and floods; at the same time, handed over the subscription of 100 million VND to help the province rebuild infrastructures and restore production.

Mr. Miura Shuhei also thanked the provincial leaders for their consideration and their help in creating favorable conditions for Mitani Sangyo Group to establish a representative office in Hue to train and develop the field of software engineering.

On behalf of Mitani Sangyo Group, Mr. Miura Shuhei desired that in the coming time, they will continue to receive consideration from the provincial leaders, as well as from related agencies in helping the cooperation cooperate with universities to develop training human resources on Information Technology (IT), meeting the development demand of the Group.

On behalf of the provincial leaders, Vice Chairman Nguyen Thanh Binh thanked the Group’s consideration on the work of overcoming flooding’s consequences of the province; highly appreciated the prompt support of organizations and businesses at home and abroad, including that of Japan in the assistance of overcoming natural disasters’ consequences.

The Vice Chairman hoped that the Mitani Sangyo Cooperation has a long-term IT industry development strategy in Hue to create conditions for the province to build up the e-government on the foundation of the smart city. He suggested the Group continue their investment and research in Hue in the field of IT. Furthermore, the vice chairman also made the commitment that the province will take the best support for the Group to strongly develop the IT sector in Hue, hoping the Group keeps on their development, contributing to the socio-economic development in the provincial area amid this hard time.
