Honoring 12 individuals with fine art awards in 2022

On the late afternoon of November 18, the University of Arts, Hue University held a ceremony to celebrate 40th year anniversary of Vietnamese Teachers’ Day and honor artistic prizes in 2022.

On this occasion, the University of Arts honored 12 cadres winning fine art awards in 2022, including the award for Northern Central region exhibition in 2022 of Vietnam Fine Arts Association; award of “New Countenance” fine art exhibition in response to Hue Festival 2022 of the Provincial Fine Arts Association; Excellent Young Fine Art award; and the award for Art & Heritage Creation Camp 2022, together with many other fine art awards.

Furthermore, the university also gave awards to 12 teachers and officials with typical excellent achievements in the period of 2017 - 2022 and 2012 - 2022.

Dr. Do Xuan Phu, Vice Rector in charge of the University of Arts said that honoring artistic awards in 2022 played an important significance on the occasion of the 40th anniversary of Vietnamese Teacher’s Day. This was the second time that the university held the ceremony to honor artistic awards after the hiatus because of the COVID-19 pandemic (the first time was in 2020). The nurturing of ideas, creativity along with the efforts of the hard-working authors have proven by the award-winning works, contributing to the success in management and teaching work, at the same time creating a great reputation in the Fine Arts Association, the Central and local Professional Associations and bringing joy and creativity to the generations of university’s students.

The program has honored the authors, art works and products of great value in art creation training, marked an importance of the high-quality training brand name of the University of Arts, Hue University, thereby shining to the domestic and international public. At the same time, it was held with an aim to facilitate the opportunities of exchanges and experience exchanges in creating visual arts as well as designing applied art, etc.
