Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2019 to take place from April 26 to May 2
TTH.VN - The Provincial Department of Tourism said that the third Hue International Hot Air Balloon Festival 2019 (Balloon over Hue 2019) would take place within the framework of Hue Traditional Craft Festival 2019.

The festival will bring together ten hot air balloons from five countries including Japan, the Netherlands, Thailand, Malaysia, and Vietnam; with 3 types of hot air balloons including free-flying hot air balloon at the altitudes of 100 to 300 meters with the radius of five kilometers from the takeoff point; hung-flying hot air balloon at the altitudes of 50 meters right at the anchor point; and mini hot air balloon to perform and for visitors to take photos.
The festival will take place at Ngo Mon Square, from April 26 to May 2, from 5:30 to 9:00 in the morning; and from 16:30 to 18:30 in the afternoon. In particular, the light night of hot air balloons will take place at 19:30 on April 27.
The festival promises to bring a new wind, adorning the sky of Hue with giant hot air balloons. This is also an opportunity for visitors to enjoy the landscape of Hue City in a completely new way from the air, and see the whole city in its new look from a completely different perspective and experience.
