Thua Thien Hue and Salavan (Laos) sign a memorandum of cooperation

TTH.VN - On the afternoon of November 14, the provincial Women's Union and the Salavan Women's Union of Lao PDR held a workshop to share experiences and sign a memorandum of cooperation.

The women of the two provinces sign the cooperation agreement

The memorandum of cooperation includes 4 main contents, focusing on emphasizing that the Women's Union of the two provinces should coordinate, exchange and learn from each other the experiences in the Union's work and in activities to support women in poverty reduction; propagandize and mobilize women to well implement the regulations on border and national protection, as well as to combat cross-border and illegal invasion.

The memorandum of cooperation also emphasizes the prevention of and combat with crimes and social evils, drug trafficking and cross-border trafficking of women and children...

Besides, according to the memorandum of cooperation, the Women's Union of the two provinces should jointly mobilize themselves to well implement the policies and guidelines of the Party and the laws of the two countries; actively participating in joint activities of Vietnam Women's Union and Lao People's Democratic Women's Union.
